What stops a vendor from recycling an old COA?
A report is bound to one lot number the moment the laboratory publishes it, and it can't be re-pointed at a later batch. If a vendor sells a new lot, that lot either has its own report or it shows as not published. There is no third option.
How do you deal with edited or invented COAs?
We never accept a report from the seller. It arrives from the laboratory, and the file is hashed on receipt. If a lab tells us a report circulating under its letterhead isn't theirs, we flag the lot and notify anyone who looked it up.
What's the difference between purity and net peptide content?
Purity is the share of peptide material that is the peptide you ordered, by HPLC. Net peptide content is how much of the powder in the vial is peptide at all — the rest is counterion salt, water, and residual reagents. A vial can be 99% pure and still deliver 20% less peptide than the label says. We show both, because most COAs only show the first.
Do you test anything yourselves?
No, and we don't claim to. We publish what laboratories report and we don't interpret it. What we control is the delivery path: the data comes from the lab rather than from the vendor, which is the part a seller cannot fake.
Can any vendor get listed?
No. Listing is free during the beta but it is not automatic. We review trading history, complaint record, whether every listed product has a recent lot, and which laboratory they use. The published criteria are the same for everyone and we turn applicants away.
The lot isn't found. Is the product fake?
Not necessarily. It means no connected laboratory has published a report against that number, and the vendor may simply not be on BatchTrust yet. We say exactly that rather than implying a verdict.
It's free now. When does that change?
Buyer lookups and laboratory access stay free permanently. Vendor listing is free through 31 December 2026. Paid tiers will be priced by catalogue size, announced at least 60 days before they start, and anyone listed during the beta keeps 50% off for as long as they remain listed.
